Practising in family law since his qualification in 1996, Philip is a trusted family specialist who works closely with his clients to help them resolve their matrimonial and relationship breakdown issues. One of the firm’s Partners and leading the Family Law department, he deals with all family cases with a particular specialism in the financial issues arising from divorce and separation including representing clients of high net worth. He is also able to deal with matters relating to children, often involving an international element, cohabitee disputes, domestic abuse and pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. Philip encourages his clients to reach an agreement through compromise and negotiation, and as a collaborative lawyer and an accredited mediator, he offers the expertise and knowledge to help them to achieve this goal. Philip is also a member of The Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme and a Resolution member.
