Nameeta specialises in all aspects of family law with a particular skill in financial cases arising from a relationship breakdown, involving substantial assets, trusts, pensions and businesses. She is also instructed to handle matters involving divorce, children issues (including child abduction, child relocation, rights for grandparents), separation agreements (for married & unmarried couples), cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, foreign marriages and domestic abuse (non-molestation orders and occupation orders). Although the majority of her cases are based in the family courts in England and Wales, Nameeta has provided advice and representation to clients living in other jurisdictions including Egypt, Iran, Pakistan and Australia. A member of both The Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme and Resolution as well as being collaboratively trained, Nameeta aims to deal with her cases in a non-confrontational and constructive manner, avoiding the distress and anxiety of a court hearing.
