Cathy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and a member of The Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme with a legal career of over 30 years. She prides herself on providing clear, honest advice on a diverse mix of cases involving divorce and financial settlements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitee disputes, non-molestation orders and occupation orders. Her work also involves providing advice in relation to children, often representing parents and grandparents in care proceedings involving non-accidental injury, misuse of alcohol and drugs and longstanding mental health issues. Cathy acts for clients on a fee-paying basis or a Legal Aid basis, and also attends a free clinic for victims of domestic abuse at a local refuge.
