Practising exclusively in family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1997, Yvonne is able to guide her clients through all aspects of matrimonial and family law, with extensive knowledge in matters relating to children. Director and Head of the Family Department, she specialises in the representation of children and parents in care proceedings from the first hearing through to contested final hearings in court. Yvonne is both a member of The Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme and the Family Law Accreditation Scheme, with a particular specialism in private children law and domestic violence issues. With meticulous case preparation and a firm, yet friendly approach, Yvonne remains a favourite amongst her clients with much of her work from referrals.

Known for her professional honesty and methodical approach in supporting her clients through a difficult time, Maggie is an experienced and proven family lawyer and divorce solicitor. Representing a range of clients for over 20 years, she has gained considerable expertise and knowledge in all legal aspects of marital and family disputes including divorce, cohabitation, children matters and pre-nuptial agreements, as well as matters relating to wills, probate and powers of attorney. Maggie is a dedicated member of Resolution and promotes a non-confrontational approach to her cases, working to achieve a fair outcome for all parties, within a reasonable timescale and cost.
