Starting her career at the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1991, Sue is now one of the firm’s Partners, and a highly regarded family lawyer and divorce solicitor working with clients in the Basildon area. Her aim is to offer support and reassurance to her clients, combined with clear and practical advice on a range of issues including divorce, nullity, dissolution of a civil partnership, separation, cohabitee disputes, financial settlements, domestic abuse cases and disputes relating to children. A member of Resolution and The Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme, Sue approaches each case with a reasoned and realistic attitude and will strive to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients, protecting their interests along the way.

One of the firm’s Partners and heading up the Family Department, Rebecca has practised in family law for the entirety of her career and is well versed in the full spectrum of matters. Her varied caseload includes divorce, separation, financial settlements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes. Rebecca is particularly skilled in complex financial settlements involving high-net-worth individuals, trust issues, and business assets. She is also able to provide advice on disputes regarding children, including issues relating to child arrangements orders and parental responsibility as well as having experience of public law children matters. Clients respect Rebecca’s pragmatic and proportionate advice when considering the cost versus benefit of action.
