Holding membership of The Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme, she provides assistance to married and unmarried couples on a range of family and matrimonial matters including divorce, separation, financial disputes arising from a relationship breakdown, domestic abuse cases and injunctions. Gillian also has extensive expertise in children cases including representing parents and grandparents who wish to bring, or respond to, applications for residence and contact, or those responding to Local Authority care proceedings.

Offering a calm and measured approach to his cases, yet tenacious when the need arises, Colin has specialised in family law for over 30 years and is a Director at this trusted and well-established law firm. He has a solid reputation in the full range of family matters including divorce and ancillary relief, but practises almost exclusively in children cases. A member of The Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme since 2008, Colin represents children through their guardians in challenging and complex cases, conducting the majority of his own advocacy. He is also a member of the Lancashire Family Justice Council and the Adoption Best Practice Forum in Lancashire.
